Poker Dice
Poker Dice Theoretically any number may play, but actually the game is played by groups of two to five people, usually in a restaurant or bar to decide which pays the check. Each player has three rolls. His object is to make the best possible poker hand, ranking; Five of a kind, nigh; four of a kind; full houses three of a kind; two pair; pair; high "card." Aces (Is) rank above sixes; when regular dice are used, and above Icings, when poker dice are used. Straights do not count. With his first roll, the player rolls all five dice. He may set aside any of these to be part of his eventual poker hand, and roll the rest again. From the second roll he may set aside any, and roll the remaining dice again. He may stand at any time, and not take any additional roll due him. When he has made his second roll, he may not pick up dice he set aside from his first roll. The high hand wins; or, if the game is to see who pays the check, the
low man pays. When two or more players tie, they roll it off among themselves
by playing another poker dice game.
